FSFR2100

The FSFR2100 is a highly integrated power switch from On Semiconductor, specifically designed for high-efficiency half-bridge resonant converter topologies. It simplifies designs and enhances productivity by combining essential components like power MOSFETs with fast-recovery body diodes, a high-side gate-drive circuit, an accurate current-controlled oscillator, and built-in protection functions.

Key electrical specifications include a variable frequency control with a 50% duty cycle, capable of operating up to 300kHz. It supports an input voltage range of 11.3V to 25V and can deliver up to 450W of output power with a heatsink. The device incorporates Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology to significantly reduce switching losses and improve overall efficiency, while also minimizing switching noise.

Protection features are integrated to ensure reliability, including Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Over-Load Protection (OLP), Over-Current Protection (OCP), Abnormal Over-Current Protection (AOCP), and Internal Thermal Shutdown (TSD). The FSFR2100 is housed in a 9-SIP package and is designed for through-hole mounting.
