FSB50250B

The FSB50250B is an advanced Motion SPM5 module providing a fully-featured, high-performance inverter output stage for AC Induction, BLDC and PMSM motors. It integrates optimized gate drive of built-in MOSFETs (FRFET technology) to minimize EMI and losses, while providing multiple on-module protection features including under-voltage lockouts and thermal monitoring. The built-in high-speed HVIC requires only a single supply voltage and translates incoming logic-level gate inputs to high-voltage, high-current drive signals. Separate open-source MOSFET terminals are available for each phase to support a wide variety of control algorithms.

Key specifications include a maximum drain-source voltage of 500V, continuous drain current of 1.9A at 25°C (1.2A at 80°C), peak current of 5.0A, and RMS current of 0.9A at 80°C. The switching frequency is optimized for over 10 kHz. The module is housed in a 23-PowerDIP Module (SPM5P-023 package) with Through Hole mounting. It is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant, with UL certification (No. E209204). The isolation rating is 1500 Vrms.

Typical applications include 3-phase inverter drives for small power AC motors such as those found in refrigerators, fans, and pumps.
