The On Semiconductor FSA642UMX is a bi-directional, low-power, high-speed analog switch optimized for switching between MIPI devices such as cameras or LCD displays and on-board Multimedia Application Processors (MAP). This TPDT switch features a wide -3dB bandwidth of 1 GHz typical, low on-capacitance of 7.0 pF typical, and low on-resistance of 7.0 Ohm typical.
The FSA642UMX is configured in a 24-lead UMLP package with dimensions of 2.5 x 3.4 mm, suitable for surface mounting. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and supports a voltage range of 2.65V to 4.3V. The device boasts an 8 kV ESD rating and a >16 kV ESD rating for Power/GND.
Its low-capacitance design allows it to switch signals exceeding 500 MHz, and superior channel-to-channel crosstalk immunity minimizes interference, enabling the transmission of high-speed differential and single-ended signals as described by the MIPI specification. Applications include dual camera and dual LCD setups for mobile phones and digital cameras.
The typical on-resistance is 7.0 Ohms.
The typical on-capacitance is 7.0 pF.
The typical -3dB bandwidth is 1 GHz.
It supports an operating voltage range from 2.65V to 4.3V.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (TA).
It is supplied in a 24-lead UMLP (3.4x2.5 mm) package, also referred to as 24-UFQFN.
The FSA642UMX is optimized for MIPI applications, including dual camera and dual LCD setups in cell phones and digital cameras.
