The FRU185-30F is a radial leaded PTC resettable fuse from Fuzetec Technology's FRU series. Designed for overcurrent protection in low-voltage DC applications, it offers a hold current of 1.85A and a trip current of 3.70A at 23°C still air.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum time to trip of 8.7 seconds at 5x hold current, a maximum fault current of 100A at 30V DC, and typical power dissipation of 1.0W in the tripped state. Minimum resistance is 30 mOhm, maximum resistance one hour after trip is 90 mOhm.
The device is housed in a through-hole radial disc package with lead spacing of 5.10mm and overall dimensions of 10.20mm x 3.00mm x 15.70mm. It features a flame retardant epoxy coating (UL 94V-0) and tin plated copper clad steel leads (24 AWG). Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. RoHS compliant.
