The FR804 is a fast recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose rectification and high-frequency switching applications requiring fast reverse recovery. With a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 400V and an average forward rectified current of 8A, it suits moderate power levels.
The diode offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.3V at 8A and a fast reverse recovery time (trr) of 250ns, enabling efficient switching. Its peak forward surge current (IFSM) is 150A, ensuring robustness during transient conditions. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +175°C.
The FR804 is packaged in a TO-220AC through-hole case with plated axial leads, solderable per MIL-STD-202. The package is UL 94V-0 rated for flammability. The device is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
