The MIC FR607 is a fast recovery rectifier designed for high current applications. It features a low reverse recovery time and a low forward voltage drop, making it efficient for various power rectification tasks.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum recurrent peak reverse voltage of 1000V, a maximum average forward rectified current of 6A at 75°C, and a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 1.3V at 6A. The device also exhibits a low DC reverse current of 10µA at 25°C.
Constructed with UL 94V-0 rated plastic material, the FR607 is housed in an R-6 molded plastic case. It features axial leads that are solderable per MIL-STD-202 Method 208. The operating and storage temperature range is from -65°C to +175°C. The polarity is indicated by a color band denoting the cathode.
Note: This part is not recommended for new designs. Consider using the PR6001 - PR6005 series as alternatives.
