The FPF2108 is an IntelliMAX advanced load management product from ON Semiconductor, functioning as a P-channel load switch. It is designed to protect systems and loads from excessive current conditions. The device operates over an input voltage range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V and features a current limit of 400 mA.
Key features include internal reverse current blocking, thermal shutdown protection, and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). The switch is controlled by a logic input (ON) compatible with low-voltage signals. When the switch current reaches the limit, the part operates in a constant-current mode. For the FPF2108, if the condition persists for 10 ms, the switch will shut off and signal a fault.
