It features a 2:1 shrink ratio, recovering to 50% of its supplied internal diameter. The tubing has a minimum expanded inner diameter of 0.500" and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.250" with a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.025".

 

This tubing is rated for continuous operation from -55°C to 135°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to 300°C. Minimum shrink temperature is 100°C. It meets AS23053/5 Class 3 requirements, is UL Recognized (File E-39100, VW-1 at 600V max 125°C), and CSA Certified (LR38227, OFT at 600V max 125°C).

 

Typical mechanical properties include tensile strength of 2400 psi, ultimate elongation of 400%, and secant modulus of 13,000 psi at 2% strain. Electrical properties include dielectric strength of 900 V/mil and volume resistivity of 10^15 ohm·cm. The tubing is non-corrosive, fungus non-nutrient, and has water absorption of 0.2%.
