The ON Semiconductor FOD8012A is a half-duplex, bi-directional, high-speed logic gate optocoupler designed for isolated communications. It provides 3750Vrms of isolation, supporting digital signals between systems without ground loops or hazardous voltages.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum data rate of 15Mbps, a maximum propagation delay of 60ns, and a minimum common mode transient immunity of 20kV/µs. The device features 2 optically coupled channels and operates with a logic input type and push-pull, totem pole output type.
