The Schaffner FN9675-6-06 is a compact performance EMI filter designed for single-phase power lines. It is rated for a maximum continuous operating voltage of 250VAC and a rated current of 6A at 40°C. The filter operates from DC to 400Hz and provides a single-stage filtering topology with 3mH inductance, 680nF Cx capacitance, and 470nF Cy capacitance. Maximum leakage current is 410µA at 230VAC/50Hz.
This filter is chassis mounted with quick connect (Faston) terminals, and also offers an additional spade solder possibility. It is designed to meet safety standards including UL 1283, CSA 22.2 No. 8, and IEC/EN 60939, with flammability rating UL 94 V-2 or better. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +100°C.
Typical applications include electrical and electronic equipment, consumer goods, household equipment, power supplies, office automation, and datacom equipment. The filter provides high symmetrical and asymmetrical attenuation performance based on chokes with high saturation resistance and excellent thermal behavior. The MTBF is 400,000 hours at 40°C/230V per Mil-HB-217F.
