The Schaffner FN9260SB-1-06-30 is a power entry module combining an IEC 320-C14 inlet, an EMI/RFI filter, and a twin fuse holder in a compact snap-in panel mount package. It is rated for a maximum continuous operating voltage of 250 VAC at 50/60 Hz and a maximum current of 1 A at 40°C. The module provides excellent conducted attenuation performance suitable for both commercial and medical equipment applications.
The electrical design includes a 5.3 mH inductance, 0.1 µF (Cx) and 2.2 nF (Cy) capacitors, and a 1000 kΩ discharge resistor. High potential test voltages are 2000 VAC (P to PE) and 760 VAC (P to N). Typical leakage current is 0.31 mA at 250 VAC/50 Hz. The module accommodates one or two 5x20 mm fuses (not included) with a power acceptance of 1.6W per pole at 23°C.
Mechanically, the module features a rectangular panel cutout of 29.50mm x 33.00mm and accepts panel thicknesses from 2.60mm to 3.50mm. Termination is via 0.250" (6.3mm) quick connect tabs. The inlet and fuseholder plastics are rated UL 94 V-0 for flammability. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C, and the module is rated IP40 for ingress protection.
