The Schaffner FN372-6-22 is a filtered power entry module combining an IEC 320-C14 inlet, an EMI/RFI filter, a dual-fuse holder, and a voltage selector in a single panel-mount package. It is designed for commercial applications requiring conducted EMI attenuation and flexible mains voltage selection.
Rated for 6A continuous current at 250VAC (50/60 Hz), the module operates from DC to 400 Hz. It provides high potential isolation of 2000 VAC from line to earth and 760 VAC from line to neutral. Typical leakage current is 373 µA at 230VAC/50 Hz. The filter includes 0.18 mH inductance, 47 nF X-capacitor, and 2.2 nF Y-capacitors.
The module mounts via snap-in panel installation, accommodating panel thicknesses from 0.031" to 0.126" (0.79 mm to 3.20 mm). Termination is via quick connect tabs. It accommodates either 6.3x32 mm or 5x20 mm fuses (not included). The voltage selector offers positions for 100, 120, 230, and 240 VAC. The housing has a flammability rating of UL94 V-2 and an ingress protection of IP40.
The FN372-6-22 is approved by CSA, UL, and VDE, and is designed to meet UL 1283 and CSA 22.2 No. 8. It has a typical MTBF of 550,000 hours at 40°C/230V. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. Weight is approximately 55 g.
