The Schaffner FN284-2-06 is a compact filtered power entry module designed for general-purpose applications. It features an IEC 320-C14 receptacle with male blades, panel mount with flange, and front or rear side mounting capability. The module includes a 2-pole rocker switch (On-Off) and a twin fuse holder accommodating two 5x20mm fuses (fuses not included).
Electrically, it is rated for 2A continuous current at 250V AC (50/60 Hz) and provides high conducted attenuation performance with a typical leakage current of 373 µA at 230V/50Hz. The filter includes a 2 mH L1 inductor, 220 µH L2 inductor, 2.2 nF Cx capacitor, and 1000 pF Cy capacitor. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C.
Mechanical termination is via quick connect tabs (0.250" / 6.3mm). The panel cutout is rectangular 29.00mm x 60.00mm. The module weighs 90 g. Ingress protection is IP40, and the flammability rating is UL94 V-2. The part carries approvals from CQC, CSA, ENEC, and UL.
