The Schaffner FN283-2-06 is a compact filtered power entry module designed for general purpose applications. It combines an IEC320-C14 male blade receptacle, a 2-pole rocker switch, and a fuse holder for two 5x20mm fuses in a single panel-mount package with quick connect terminals (0.250" / 6.3mm). The integrated EMI filter provides high conducted attenuation, with inductances of 2 mH (L1) and 220 mH (L2), and capacitances of 2.2 nF (Cx) and 1000 nF (Cy). Leakage current is 373 µA at 230 VAC/50 Hz. The module is rated for continuous operation at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with a current rating of 2 A at 40°C (2.4 A at 25°C). It can withstand inrush currents up to 82 A. The rocker switch has electrical ratings of 10 A (4 A) at 250 VAC for Europe and 10 A at 125/250 VAC for UL/CSA. The module operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +85°C and has IP40 protection. It is approved by CQC, CSA, ENEC, and UL, and the housing meets UL94 V-2 flammability. Panel cutout is rectangular 29.00mm x 60.00mm, allowing front or rear side mounting.
