The Schaffner FN282-2-06 is a compact filtered power entry module designed for general purpose applications. It integrates an IEC 320-C14 receptacle, a 2-pole rocker switch (on-off), and a twin fused holder for 5x20mm fuses (fuses not included). The module is rated for 2A continuous at 40°C (2.4A at 25°C) and 250VAC, 50/60 Hz.
The built-in EMI/RFI filter provides conducted attenuation with typical inductance values of 2 mH (L1) and 220 mH (L2), and capacitance of 2.2 nF (Cx) and 1000 nF (Cy). Leakage current is 373 µA typical at 230VAC, 50 Hz. High potential test voltage is 2000 VAC (P-PE) and 760 VAC (P-N) for 2 seconds.
The module is panel mounted with flanges and uses quick connect terminals (0.250" / 6.3mm). It has an IP40 protection rating, flammability rating UL94 V-2, and operates from -25°C to +85°C. Approvals include CQC, CSA, ENEC, and UL. Weight is 90 grams.
