The Schaffner FN282-1-06 is a compact filtered power entry module designed for general purpose applications. It integrates an IEC 320-C14 receptacle, a 2-pole rocker switch, and a twin fuse holder accommodating 5x20mm fuses (fuses not included). The module provides EMI/RFI filtering with typical inductance of 7.5 mH, 220 nF X-capacitance, and 2.2 nF Y-capacitance, achieving high conducted attenuation.

 

Electrical ratings include a maximum continuous operating voltage of 250 VAC at 50/60 Hz, a rated current of 1A at 40°C, and an operating frequency range from DC to 400 Hz. The module features panel mount with flange, quick connect 0.250" (6.3mm) terminals, and supports front or rear side mounting. The panel cutout is rectangular 29.00mm x 60.00mm.

 

The module is rated IP40 for ingress protection and has a flammability rating of UL94 V-2. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. The part weighs 90 grams.
