The Schaffner FN2090NN-4-06 is a very high performance single-phase EMC/RFI filter from the FN2090 series. It is a two-stage filter designed for excellent differential and common-mode attenuation. Rated for 4A continuous current at 250VAC/VDC maximum continuous operating voltage, it operates over a frequency range from DC to 400Hz. The filter is chassis mounted with quick connect terminations for easy installation. It is approved to CE, CSA, ENEC, and UR standards. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 100°C. With an MTBF greater than 1,300,000 hours at 40°C/230V, it offers high reliability. Typical applications include general purpose power line filtering in industrial equipment, medical devices (B type variants), and safety critical systems (A type variants). The filter meets overvoltage category II and pollution degree 2 per IEC 60664-1.
