The FMMT618TA is a 20V NPN silicon low saturation transistor designed for high efficiency switching applications. It features a continuous collector current rating of 2.5A with a peak pulse current capability of 6A. The device offers a low Vce saturation voltage of 200mV at 2.5A collector current, minimizing power loss. With a DC current gain of 200 minimum at 2A/2V, it provides excellent current driving capability. The transition frequency of 140MHz supports moderate switching speeds.
The transistor is housed in a surface mount SOT23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59), making it suitable for compact designs. The package is molded with green molding compound and features matte tin plated leads for solderability. Mounting type is surface mount.
Typical applications include DC-DC converter modules, gate driver circuits, and LED driver designs. The device is fully RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and qualified to AEC-Q101 standards for high reliability, making it suitable for automotive applications. Moisture sensitivity level is 1 per J-STD-020, allowing unlimited floor life.
