The FMMT591TA is a 60V PNP medium power transistor designed for general purpose switching and amplification applications. It offers a continuous collector current of -1A with a peak pulse current capability of -2A. The device features a low collector-emitter saturation voltage of 350mV at 100mA base current, minimizing power loss. With a DC current gain (hFE) of minimum 100 at 500mA and a transition frequency of 150MHz, it is suitable for medium-speed switching circuits.
The transistor is housed in a compact SOT23-3 surface mount package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59). It is fully RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. The complementary NPN type is the FMMT491. For automotive applications, an AEC-Q qualified version (FMMT591Q) is available under a separate datasheet. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per 7-inch reel.
