The FML-24S is a fast recovery diode array from Sanken Electric, consisting of two diodes in a common cathode configuration. It is designed for high-efficiency power supply applications such as secondary side rectification in flyback and LLC converters.
With a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 400V and average forward current of 10A, the device offers a maximum forward voltage of 1.3V at 5A and 25°C. The reverse recovery time is as low as 50ns (max) under standard test conditions, and 30ns under alternative conditions.
The device is housed in a TO-220-3 Full Pack (TO-220F-3) through-hole package, with a weight of 1.8g and flammability rating UL94V-0. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance junction-to-case is 4.0°C/W.
Suitable for use as secondary side rectifier diodes in flyback and LLC converters, as well as freewheel diodes in offline buck and buck-boost converters. Note: This part is not recommended for new designs.
