The Hirose FH41-68S-0.5SH(05) is a 68 position FFC connector from the FH41 series, featuring a 0.5mm pitch and right angle surface mount orientation. It is designed for use with tabbed FFC cables of 0.30mm thickness. The connector includes a flip lock and backlock mechanism for secure cable retention, and solder retention features for reliable board attachment.
Electrical specifications include a voltage rating of 50V, current rating of 0.5A per contact, contact resistance of 100mΩ maximum, insulation resistance of 500MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage of AC 150Vrms for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C.
The housing and actuator are made of halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold finish. The connector is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 pieces per reel, suitable for automatic pick-and-place assembly.
