The FH40-45S-0.5SV by Hirose Electric is a high-density FPC connector designed for reliable vertical connections in compact electronic assemblies. It features 45 positions on a 0.5mm pitch, making it suitable for applications requiring fine-pitch interconnects. The connector uses gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, housed in a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulator rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The flip lock actuator provides secure cable retention, and the surface mount termination enables automated assembly. Rated for 50V, the connector operates over -40°C to 105°C and accepts 0.30mm thick FPC cables with tabbed ends.
