The Hirose Electric FH35W-25S-0.3SHW(50) is a 25-position FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) connector featuring a 0.3mm pitch and a right-angle surface mount orientation. It employs a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) rotary lock, backlock actuator for secure FPC retention. The connector accepts standard 0.2mm thick FPC cables with tapered end types.
Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold finish, ensuring reliable electrical connections. The housing is constructed from halogen-free Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with UL94 HB flammability rating, and the actuator is polyamide (nylon). The connector is rated for 0.2A per contact (with 70% derating when all contacts are energized) and 30V. Contact resistance is 100 mΩ maximum, and insulation resistance is 50 MΩ minimum.
Designed for low-profile applications, the connector has a height above board of 0.88mm and a compact width of 3.2mm. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C and can be stored between -10°C and 50°C with 90% max humidity. The flat upper surface facilitates vacuum pick-and-place, and packaging is in tape and reel with 5000 pieces per reel.
