The Hirose FH34SRJ-40S-0.5SH(99) is a 40-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for surface mount, right-angle mounting. It supports both FFC and FPC cables with a tapered end type and a thickness of 0.30mm. The connector employs a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) mechanism with a rotary lock and backlock, ensuring secure cable retention without damaging contacts.
Contact surfaces are gold-plated over phosphor bronze, providing reliable electrical performance. The housing is made from halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is polyamide (PA) nylon. The connector is rated for 50V and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C.
