The Hirose FH34SJ-6S-0.5SH(50) is a 6-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from the FH34SJ series. It features a top contact design with a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) rotary lock, backlock actuator for reliable mechanical and electrical connection. The connector accepts standard 0.30mm thick FFC or FPC cables with a tapered end.
This connector has a low-profile height of 1.00mm above the board and a surface mount, right angle mounting style. It is rated for 50V and 0.5A, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 85°C. The housing is made of halogen-free Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze.
The FH34SJ series is designed for space-saving applications and offers increased FPC/FFC retention force compared to previous designs. The unique back-flip rotating actuator opens from the back, ensuring easy FPC insertion and a tactile confirmation when fully closed. The connector is delivered with the actuator open for immediate use.
