The Hirose FH30M-96S-0.4SHW(98) is a 96-position FPC connector with a 0.4mm pitch, designed for high-density interconnects. It features bottom contacts and a right-angle surface mount termination, making it suitable for compact PCB layouts. The connector uses a rotary lock mechanism for secure cable retention and supports zero insertion force (ZIF) operation, simplifying assembly and reducing wear on the FPC.
The housing is made of halogen-free Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring reliability in demanding environments. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold plating for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, accommodating a wide variety of applications.
