The Hirose FH28E-40S-0.5SH(07) is a 40 position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for right angle surface mount termination. It features a bottom contact position and accepts tabbed cables 0.30mm thick. The connector is built with a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) housing and actuator, both halogen free, and phosphor bronze contacts with gold finish. It incorporates a rotary lock mechanism for secure cable retention and solder retention features for reliable board mounting. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C, and the housing meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating. This zero insertion force (ZIF) connector is suitable for compact electronic assemblies requiring a low profile 2.54mm height above board.
