The Hirose Electric FH28D-50S-0.5SH(05) is a 50-position FFC/FPC connector with a 0.50mm pitch, designed for right-angle surface mount termination. It features bottom contacts with gold plating over phosphor bronze for reliable signal integrity. The housing and actuator are molded from halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
This connector incorporates a rotary lock mechanism for secure cable retention and zero insertion force (ZIF) operation, simplifying assembly and reducing wear on the flexible cable. Solder retention features aid in reliable board mounting. The connector accepts FFC or FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm and has a height above board of 2.54mm.
