The Hirose FH23-21S-0.3SHAW(05) is a 21-position FPC connector featuring a 0.3mm pitch and right-angle surface mount termination. It is designed for FPC cables with a thickness of 0.20mm and a tapered cable end type. The connector uses a flip lock actuator for secure cable retention and has bottom contact position.
The housing and actuator are made from halogen-free Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold finish. The connector is rated for 30V and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 85°C. It features low insertion force (LIF) for ease of assembly.
This connector is suitable for compact electronic devices where space is limited, offering a low profile of 1.25mm above the board. The right-angle orientation allows for flexible cable routing in tight enclosures.
