Contacts are phosphor bronze with solder plating, and the housing is made of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.

 

Electrically, the connector is rated for 0.5A current and 50V AC voltage. It offers insulation resistance of 500MΩ minimum at 100V DC, withstand voltage of 150V AC for 1 minute, and contact resistance of 40mΩ maximum at 100mA. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 70°C.

 

This vertical connector with 2-sided contact structure does not restrict the direction of FPC/FFC conductors, making it suitable for applications such as HDDs, facsimiles, printers, and LCD modules. The LIF design enhances serviceability during assembly and maintenance.
