The Hirose Electric FH21-16S-1DSA is a 16 position, 1mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for vertical through hole mounting. It features a low insertion force (LIF) mechanism for easy cable insertion and a kinked pin termination that prevents connector floating during soldering. The contact structure on both sides accepts FPC and FFC conductors without restricting directionality.
Electrical ratings include a rated current of 0.5A and a rated voltage of 50V AC. Contact resistance is 40mΩ maximum measured at 100mA, insulation resistance is 500MΩ minimum at 100V DC, and the connector withstands 150V AC for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 70°C.
