The Hirose FH19C-8S-0.5SH(10) is a low-profile 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from the FH19C series. It features 8 positions with a right angle surface mount termination and a flip lock actuator for easy insertion and reliable connection. The connector accepts 0.20mm thick FFC or FPC cables with a tapered end.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 0.5A per contact and a voltage rating of 50V. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 85°C. The housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is LCP or PPS. Contacts are gold plated phosphor bronze.
The connector has a height above board of 0.88mm and includes solder retention features. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces. The design allows conductive traces to run under the connector due to its enclosed bottom construction.
