The FH19C-8S-0.5SH(05) is a 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from Hirose Electric's FH19C series. It features 8 positions with bottom contact termination, designed for surface mount, right angle assembly. The connector includes a flip lock actuator for easy insertion and reliable mechanical locking, ensuring a secure connection with FFC or FPC cables up to 0.2mm thick.
Electrical ratings include 0.5A per contact maximum current (derate to 70% when all contacts are used) and 50V voltage rating. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 85°C. The housing is made of Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze.
This connector is designed for low-profile applications, with a height above board of only 0.88mm. It features solder retention for reliable board mounting and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 5000 units per reel. The connector is halogen-free compliant per IEC61249-2-21.
