The Hirose FH19C-27S-0.5SH(99) is a low-profile 0.5mm pitch FPC/FFC connector designed for high-density interconnects in portable and space-constrained electronics. With a height of just 0.9mm above the board, this connector supports bottom-contact termination and accepts 0.2mm thick FPC/FFC cables.
The connector features a reliable flip-lock actuator system that provides tactile feedback upon full engagement, ensuring secure mechanical and electrical connections. The housing is molded from halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator uses LCP / polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) in brown. Gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts deliver 0.5A current rating per contact at 50V.
Surface-mount solder retention pads and a solid bottom surface allow PCB traces to run under the connector, maximizing board area utilization. Tape-and-reel packaging with 5000 units per reel supports automated pick-and-place assembly. The product is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
