The Hirose FH19C-10S-0.5SH(10) is a low-profile, 10-position FFC/FPC connector from the FH19C series. It features a 0.5mm pitch and right angle surface mount design with a height of just 0.88mm above the board. The connector uses a proven flip lock actuator system for easy insertion and reliable connection, providing tactile feedback upon full locking. Contacts are gold plated phosphor bronze, and the housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The actuator material is LCP and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS).
This connector supports FPC/FFC cables with a thickness of 0.2mm and features a bottom contact location. It includes solder retention for secure board attachment and is a zero insertion force (ZIF) type. Electrical ratings include 50V AC maximum voltage and 0.5A per contact current rating (derate to 70% when all contacts are used). Operating temperature range is -55°C to 85°C, and storage temperature range is -10°C to 50°C.
The FH19C-10S-0.5SH(10) is halogen-free per IEC61249-2-21 standards and is packaged in tape and reel with 5000 units per reel. It is suitable for automated pick-and-place assembly.
