The Hirose FH16P-64S-0.5SHW is a 64-position FPC connector with a 0.5mm pitch, featuring bottom contacts and a right-angle surface mount design. It utilizes a flip-lock actuator for secure FPC retention and zero insertion force (ZIF) for easy insertion and removal. The connector supports a cable thickness of 0.30mm and has a height above board of 3.00mm.
The housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP), polyamide (PA), and nylon, with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) actuator. Contacts are phosphor bronze with a tin-lead finish. The connector is rated for 60V and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. It includes a pick and place cap for automated assembly.
