FH12A-10S-0.5SH

The Hirose FH12A-10S-0.5SH is a 10-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from the FH12 series. It features a surface mount, right angle termination with top contact orientation. The connector utilizes a zero insertion force (ZIF) flip lock actuator, which requires only one finger and 6.9N of force to lock, simplifying assembly and saving board space. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a tin-lead finish, and the housing is constructed from polyamide (nylon) with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) actuator. The connector is rated for 50V AC and 0.4A DC, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C. It accepts FFC/FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm ±0.05mm. The height above board is 2.00mm. The FH12 series incorporates Hirose's patented half tuning fork contacts to maintain normal force without relying on the housing, ensuring long-term reliability. An excess solder cavity helps prevent solder bridging during reflow. The connector is suitable for compact electronic devices such as notebook computers, printers, PDAs, and digital cameras, where space-saving and reliable interconnection are critical.
