The Hirose FH12-26S-0.5SH(55) is a 26-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for surface mount right-angle mounting. It features a zero insertion force (ZIF) flip lock actuator for secure and easy cable insertion. The connector accepts 0.3mm thick FFC or FPC cables with straight ends and provides bottom contacts for reliable electrical connection.
This connector is housed in a UL94 V-0 rated polyamide (nylon) housing with a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) actuator. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. It is rated for 50V DC and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The FH12 series offers a compact 2.00mm height above board, ideal for space-constrained designs. The right-angle orientation allows for low-profile cable routing, commonly used in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and display interfaces.
