The FGB3040G2-F085 is an N-Channel ignition IGBT designed for automotive ignition coil driver circuits. It is rated for a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 400V and continuous collector current of 41A at 25°C (25.6A at 110°C). The device offers self-clamping inductive switching energy of 300mJ at 25°C and 170mJ at 150°C, ensuring robust performance in inductive load switching. It features logic-level gate drive with ±10V gate-emitter voltage and a low gate charge of 21nC. The IGBT is housed in a TO-263-3 (D2PAK) surface-mount package, suitable for coil-on-plug applications. With an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and power dissipation of 150W, it meets AEC-Q101 qualification for automotive use. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
