The FFSPF1065A is a 650V, 10A Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode from On Semiconductor's EliteSiC family. It utilizes SiC technology to deliver superior switching performance with no reverse recovery current, enabling higher efficiency and reduced EMI in power systems. The diode has a maximum forward voltage of 1.75V at 10A (25°C) and a typical forward voltage of 1.50V. Reverse current is limited to 200µA at 650V. The junction capacitance is 575pF at 1V, 100kHz.
This diode is avalanche rated at 64mJ single pulse and can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 720A (10µs pulse). Maximum power dissipation is 38W at 25°C case temperature. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C, with a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 3.9°C/W.
Packaged in a TO-220-2 Full Pack (TO-220F-2FS) through-hole package, the FFSPF1065A is suitable for general-purpose applications including SMPS, solar inverters, UPS, and power switching circuits. The device is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. Standard packaging is 50 units per tube.
