The FFSP2065B is a Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode from ON Semiconductor's EliteSiC series. It is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 650V and a continuous forward current of 22.5A at case temperatures below 135°C (20A below 141°C). The forward voltage is typically 1.38V at 20A and 25°C, increasing with temperature. This diode offers zero reverse recovery time, significantly reducing switching losses in high-frequency applications. It also features an avalanche energy rating of 94 mJ and high non-repetitive surge current capability up to 882A for 10µs pulses. The device is housed in a through-hole TO-220-2 (D2) package and is RoHS compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free. It is suitable for general-purpose power switching, SMPS, solar inverters, and UPS systems.
