The FFSP15120A is a 15 A, 1200 V Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode from onsemi, part of the EliteSiC family. It offers superior switching performance with no reverse recovery current and no forward recovery, enabling higher efficiency and reduced EMI in power circuits.
This diode is avalanche rated at 145 mJ and provides a high surge current capacity. Key electrical specifications include a typical forward voltage of 1.45 V at 15 A and 25°C, a maximum reverse current of 200 µA at 1200 V and 25°C, and a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.5 °C/W. The maximum junction temperature is 175°C.
Housed in a TO-220-2L through-hole package, it is suitable for general purpose applications including SMPS, solar inverters, UPS, and power switching circuits. The device is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free and RoHS compliant.
