The FFSB1065A is a Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode from onsemi's EliteSiC family. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 650 V and a continuous forward current of 10 A at case temperatures below 152°C. The diode offers a typical forward voltage of 1.5 V at 10 A and 25°C, with a maximum of 1.75 V. It is avalanche rated at 64 mJ and can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 760 A for 10 µs pulses.
This SiC Schottky diode provides superior switching performance with no reverse recovery current, enabling higher efficiency and reduced EMI in power circuits. It is designed for general purpose applications including SMPS, solar inverters, and UPS systems. The device is housed in a D2PAK-2L (TO-263-2L) surface mount package and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
