The FFSB0665B is a Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diode from onsemi, designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 650V and a continuous forward current of 8A (at TC<135°C) or 6A (at TC<150°C). The diode offers zero reverse recovery time, enabling high-frequency switching with reduced EMI. Forward voltage is typically 1.38V at 6A and 25°C, with a maximum of 1.7V. The device is avalanche rated at 24.5 mJ and can handle surge currents up to 523A (10 µs pulse). Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C. The D2PAK-2 (TO-263-2L) surface mount package allows for efficient thermal management with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 2.46°C/W. The FFSB0665B is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free, making it suitable for environmentally conscious designs.
