The FFPF30UA60S is an ultrafast II diode designed by On Semiconductor for high-efficiency power switching applications. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 30A at a case temperature of 43°C. The device features a maximum forward voltage of 2.2V at 30A and 25°C, and a reverse recovery time of 90ns, making it suitable for fast switching circuits. It is avalanche energy rated with a minimum of 20mJ. The diode is housed in a TO-220-2 Full Pack package (TO-220F-2L) with through-hole mounting. It is Pb-free and RoHS compliant. Typical applications include boost diodes in power factor correction (PFC) and switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), as well as welders, UPS, and motor control systems.
