The FFPF05U60STU is an ultrafast recovery power rectifier manufactured by On Semiconductor. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 5A at a case temperature of 100°C. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 30A (60Hz half-sine wave). The maximum instantaneous forward voltage is 2.3V at 5A and 25°C, dropping to 2.2V at 100°C. Reverse leakage current is limited to 2.5µA at 25°C and 25µA at 100°C. Key switching characteristics include a reverse recovery time of 80ns, reverse recovery current of 5.5A, and recovery charge of 220nC. The rectifier also offers an avalanche energy rating of 1.0mJ and typical junction capacitance of 30pF. The device is housed in a TO-220-2 Full Pack (TO-220F-2L) through-hole package.
