The FFP04S60STU is a 4A, 600V STEALTH II fast recovery rectifier from On Semiconductor. It features a soft recovery characteristic achieved through silicon nitride passivated ion-implanted epitaxial planar construction. This device is designed for high-speed switching applications with a typical reverse recovery time of 16ns (at IF=1A) and 18ns (at IF=4A).
Key electrical ratings include a maximum average forward current of 4A at TC=127°C, a forward voltage of 2.2V typical (2.6V max) at rated current, and a low reverse current of 100µA maximum at 25°C. The device can withstand non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 40A and offers an avalanche energy rating of 10mJ.
The rectifier is housed in a TO-220-2 through-hole package (supplier device package TO-220-2L) with a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 3.6°C/W maximum. Its operating temperature range spans -65°C to +150°C.
