The FFC2B17-50-T is a 50-position FFC/FPC connector from Global Connector Technology (GCT). It features a 0.5mm pitch and right-angle surface mount orientation with top contacts. The connector is designed for use with 0.30mm thick FFC/FPC cables and includes a slide lock mechanism for secure cable retention.
Electrical ratings include 50V AC/DC maximum voltage and 0.4A AC/DC maximum current per contact. Contact resistance is 40 mΩ maximum, and insulation resistance is 50 MΩ minimum. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. The connector is rated for 20 mating cycles.
The housing and actuator are made of Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with tin plating. The connector is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2000 pieces per reel, suitable for automated assembly.
