The FFA60UP20DNTU is an ultrafast dual diode from On Semiconductor, configured as a common cathode pair. It is rated for a DC blocking voltage of 200V and an average rectified forward current of 30A per diode at a case temperature of 100°C. The device features a maximum forward voltage of 1.15V at 30A and 25°C, and a reverse recovery time as low as 32ns under specified conditions. It also offers avalanche energy capability with a minimum rating of 2mJ.
Designed for use in switching power supplies and industrial applications such as welders and UPS systems, this diode provides fast switching and low forward voltage drop. Each diode can withstand a non-repetitive peak surge current of 300A. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
The device is housed in a through-hole TO-3P-3 package (also known as SC-65-3) with a supplier device package of TO-3PN. Thermal resistance from junction to case is 1.4°C/W. The part is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
