The FES8JT-E3/45 is an ultrafast plastic rectifier diode designed for high frequency rectification in switching power supplies, inverters, and DC-DC converters. Key electrical characteristics include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V, average forward current of 8A at TC=100°C, and peak forward surge current of 125A. The forward voltage is 1.5V maximum at 8A, and reverse recovery time is 50ns. The device has a junction capacitance of 50pF typical. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The diode is packaged in a TO-220AC through-hole case with matte tin plated leads, and meets MSL level 1. It is RoHS compliant and suitable for high efficiency power switching applications.
